I'm still reeling after watching the final  day of the Solheim Cup.  All looked lost, US Captain Juli Inkster was doing a Brookline and running all over the 18th green, it was set to be one of those heartbreaking days.

Then Ciganda came good, then Bronte Law came good and then Suzann Petterson from the depths of hell found a clutch birdie on the last to win the Solheim Cup for Europe.

I mean forget the Koreans and their dominance of ladies golf, the 2019 Solheim Cup is still the best pound for pound entertainment in the game. Team USA and Team Europe with the pressure amped to the max, it doesn't get any better.

You have to take your hat off to Catriona Matthew also to figure out putting Bronte Law and Suzann Pettersen out last in the singles.  They were highly flammable on the first tee and ignited right at the end.

Sky Sports News had the timeline of events.  Here's a snippet.

Here's the highlights package from the Golf Channel.

Afterwards Suzann Petterson announced her retirement. What a way to go out!
