Francesco Molinari 22/1

A big test for Francesco at home in Italy one year out from the Ryder Cup.  Lightly raced this season. T9 at the BMW PGA was his first start in almost two months since a T15 at the Open.  Looked back to his old self for long periods at Wentworth and will be buoyed by that coming in this week.  Didn't drive it well enough at the weekend here last year but Fran looks in better shape this time around as he seeks a third title.

Adrian Meronk 33/1

T2 here last year was a springboard for Adrian.  Winner of the Irish Open in fine style this season and has been solid in the midfield pack since.  A chance to impress and place in a stellar field this week. Wont spare the horses off the tee.

Guido Migliozzi 80/1

T13 last week in Wentworth was his best finish since picking up a quarter of a million dollars for a T14 at the US Open in the Summer. Three solid rounds of 68 there will see the 25 year old head home confident of a good showing this week.

Fabrizio Zanotti 40/1

Not the biggest batter off the tee but Zanotti hits more fairways and greens than anyone which gives him an each way chance on any course where his putter behaves.  Another T13 last week in Wentworth and I make that four top-20's in his last four regular DP World Tour starts. 

Francesco Laporta 110/1

Missed the cut at Wentworth after a T4 in Himmerland but the slate is clean for a good showing in Italy.  Top-10 in two of last three visits, including a T4 on the Marco Simone course last year where he topped the birdie count with 24. Good each way shout.
