Scottie, Rahm, Rory, Bryson are all 11/1 or shorter and just not in the conversation for an Each-Way Bet for the Masters.  Even Xander, Aberg, Fitzy all would need to win to be worth the risk and pay out for us.  We are realistically looking for five players at odds 20/1 or better that will pay out for finishing in the top-five or top-six for a fifth or quarter of the odds depending on your bookie. And if they win, all the better!!

Doc's Top 5 Each Way 2026 Masters Picks

Patrick Reed 45/1

Winner in 2018 and four top-10's since including a solo third last year. The thing Reed does better than anyone else in the field over those 8 years is scramble.  Last year was the only year he just about scraped into the top-10 in hitting greens, but he's been in the top-5 putting five times, finishing top in 2018, 2023 and 2024. Add to that winning in Dubai and Qatar in January and February this year, getting a big warm hug and welcome back from Brian Rolapp and the PGA Tour and everything is rosy in Reed's garden. So why is he long odds? Because Reed doesn't drive it near as far as the others, and the Masters is evolving into a bombers paradise. Still (Zach Johnson the shortest player in the field finished T8 last year so Reed is) a no brainer each way bet for me.

Justin Rose 35/1

Speaking of Rosey, he's 45 now and is (arguably) focussed on getting that green jacket more than anyone else in the field.  The grit of this guy cannot be underestimated. Do you remember what he shot in the third round before losing in a playoff last year to Rory? 75. Having led for two days, to drop to sixth after Saturday, and still battle back? That's grit. Visited Augusta last week with his coach to just work on chipping around the greens, reminds me of what Mickelson did with Pelz to get his first win. Winner of the Farmers in February, don't count Rose out.

Hideki Matsuyama 30/1

You'll read a tonne of stats and crap in the lead up to the Masters but the simple fact is this; Hideki hits greens, is great at scrambling and he rarely three-putts. That's why he always is a danger at The Masters. Nearly won in Phoenix a couple of months back and had a good run at Pebble Beach before cooling of late. He will have his calamity moments this week, Hideki always does hence 30/1 odds. Winner in 2021.

Cameron Young 22/1

Two top-10's from his three Masters and arguably playing better golf now than then. Good at the Genesis, better in Bay Hill, brilliant in winning at Sawgrass. That drive down the 72nd at The Players told me everything I needed to know. Level headed, and now able to get over the line, that's a super power at The Masters.

Brooks Koepka 50/1

Top 10 in GIR at the Cognizant, Players and Valspar led to three top-20's, totally under the radar, which is crazy to say about a five time Major winner.  What's tripping Brooks up at the moment, and skewing his odds to 50/1, is throwing in 2 or 3 double bogeys every event.  HOWEVER, this is the Masters, Brooks and Ricky know the formula, they know crazy sh!t will happen here and that it is recoverable.  T2 in 2019 and 2023 and well capable of a place.

T13 at The Players where he was in contention heading into Sunday, T14 last time out at The Valspar.  So many good stats every week, just needs to put them all together.  Four times in the top-10 at The Masters and over priced.

Russell Henley 60/1

Five top-20's from seven starts this year. Tidy around the green complexes, great putter, T4 in 2023. 

Jake Knapp 70/1

T11, T5, 8, T8, 6, MC, T6 is Jake's formline this season, with that MC coming at The Players.  Played only one Masters, made the cut but played poorly. Still if you get the chance to look up his story, you'll be rooting for him.
