Well done to Brandt Snedeker at Pebble Beach proving that you don't need to have the latest model clubs in your bag to get the job done.  Sneds has been using a TaylorMade Burner Superfast TP driver for almost seven years.

In fariness, he has tried other TM drivers, like the R11 and SLDR but has reverted to his trusty Superfast TP.

The eagle eyed among you will spot that the club is not exactly the same as the retail TP version that had a black finish. TaylorMade distributed a chrome face and sole version for its Tour staff but never put it into general production.  The chrome finish was to actually used to make it look like the original non TP Burner Superfast that was in the shops so the public would think they used that version.

Snedeker cracked the face of the driver a few years ago, and due to the rarity of the model, had trouble finding a new one.
