The 2015 Irish Open at Royal County Down next month could feature one of the strongest fields on the European Tour this year.

As well as massive names like McIlroy, Fowler, Donald, Els all confirmed, GCD has learned that organizers are also putting together an interesting subplot by inviting the most divisive players in the world.

Patrick Reed's announcement yesterday that he would play was quickly followed by confirmation from Vijay Singh, Robert Allenby and Rory Sabbatini.  Sergio Garcia and Ian Poulter reportedly then rang and asked if they could come along.

It's thought organizers will have special "bad boy" groupings with special guest referees Tim Finchem, Bird Guy and The Wealdstone Raider joining John Paramor.  Crowds following the groups will be encouraged to heckle and throw things.

What a brilliant idea! Find out more info on the Irish Open here.
