The Wells Fargo Championship might have been won by Rory McIlroy but it was his caddie JP Fitzgerald that got much of the accolades after.

The world number one hosted a live Periscope Q&A session from 35,000 feet in the air on his learjet trip to London with many of the questions directed at JP.  He was even asked to put back on his (dodgy) aviator sunglasses on the flight and did.  Another question concerned how much McIlroy paid his caddie.

Rory sat next to JP and said, "This man made $140,000 today!"

Earlier JP was presented with the "Giant Soother Award" by the PGA Tour Caddies Association after successfully completing 300 days without his player chucking a tantrum.

Good times!
