Wouldn't it be great if someone had a look at the leaderboard after round one of The Open and cross referenced which players were high on that leaderboard with who will enjoy the best of the conditions Friday according to the weather forecast?

And then wouldn't it be super if someone checked the odds for those players?

Marcel Siem and Anirban Lahiri will be done and dusted early and they are both 250/1.  The big names that stand out odds wise now are Marc Warren and Tommy Fleetwood, both accomplished on links, at between 60 and 66/1.

Danny Willett is worrying the bookies at 25/1 but just look who is lurking at -2; it's Adam Scott and he's 30/1.

Zach Johnson at -6 is 18/1.

All these guys will be done by Friday lunchtime when the real weather hits!
