Here's a nice Stats Centre post from that baldy old Irish tipster guy Donal Hughes on the GAME GOLF blog taking you through pretty much everything you need to know about this week's venue for the 2016 Wells Fargo Championship, Quail Hollow.

Realted post: 2016 Wells Fargo Championship Betting Preview And Tips

So what are  the keys to success at Quail Hollow?
Well as Rory McIlroy fans know, when he’s on top form he’s not just long off the tee but straight too and that has been the foundation for both his wins here.  Last year Rors was the longest driver in the field with an overall average clip of 321.1 yards, (at least 311.5 yards on every drive) and was T19 in fairways hit.  When you consider too that last year, players hitting onto the green managed on average to only get within 40 feet of the flag (ranking it sixth most difficult), Rory, hitting in from much closer, was always going to enjoy a massive advantage.  His mammoth driving led to him ranking third in the proximity stat and set up a cumulative -11 on the par-4’s and -13 on the par-5’s, making his +3 performance on the par-3’s almost inconsequential.  The Northern Irish man completed the perfect template for success by ranking first in strokes gained tee to green.

There's also a very cool post, using the GAME GOLF platform, of a stretch of holes from Rory McIlroy's 61 on Saturday last year.
